Where we’re at in Prayer…
Prayer is the connection we have between us and God, the LMUCU aim to encourage Christians in their prayer lives because through prayer God moves. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer Matt 21: 22

As a CU we do this through the following –

Prayer Buddies… a great way to make new Christian friends and focus on praying for your friends, especially those who are not yet Christians

Regular Prayer Meetings take place before the Thursday Night CU meetings at 7pm outside the Leeds University Chaplaincy Room these are open meetings for anyone who wants to come and celebrate Gods grace and be ministered to.

Recently LMUCU had a prayer walk with Leeds Uni CU, this was a great success, both CUs praying together claiming the land for God, more joint prayer events are being planned for next semester so watch this space for more information.

Be encouraged to challenge yourself in your own prayer life because through prayer you will receive.
So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11: 9-10
