UCCF
Vision:
“To make
disciples of Jesus Christ amongst today’s students. We therefore
aim to be mobilised in mission, reaching students with the good news of
Jesus Christ and facilitating involvements in world mission, growing in
maturity, submitting our lives and our thinking to God’s word”.
How we aim to achieve
this vision:
To
make disciples among today's students
- Thursday
Nights - with meetings devoted to Word + Worship, Gospel message, Worship
+ Prayer and others, we hope to help Christians to grow, and non-Christians
get a better understanding of God.
- Buddying
system/prayer partner – Share life, enjoy friendship, discipling,
likeminded, same sex, one to one.
- Bible
study / Cell groups – A simple meeting for people who want to
understand and get to know more about the Bible, and how it can be used.
Reaching Students
- Lunch
Bars - We provide a free lunch to the students with a short talk on
various challenging questions that can bve brought back to Gods word.
The purpose of this is to bring Gods word to those that wouldn't want
to go along to church by giving them the opportunity to talk about these
issues in an informal and relaxed environment...the bar!
- Outreach
/ Social Events – An open invitation for anyone to come and enjoy
an event, such as live bands, guest speakers, barbeques, sports etc.
The purpose of the events is to simply give the opportunity to interact
more with students.
International involvement
- Global
Café – A welcoming and friendly place for new and old international
students to learn about our culture, food, language and belief.
Growing in maturity,
submitting our lives and our thinking to God's word

We want
to be an outward looking group, meeting students where they are and providing
them with the opportunity to understand, learn and come to know God.
Romans 10 v 14-15:
“ How then can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in one of whom they have not heard? And how can
they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless
they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of
those who bring good news!’ ”
