To
work along side each other in seeking God's will for the CU and to then
practically co ordinate the CU and lead it in order to achieve this. As
well as over seeing the CU as a whole we also try to encourage individual's
faiths either on a one to one basis or by organising relevant meetings,
including the week end away. We spend a lot of time forming and developing
links with local people, organisations and churches.

The Secretary
facilitates communication within CU as well as liaising with churches, speakers
& booking rooms for meetings & events. Co-ordinating correspondence
on behalf of the CU and providing secretarial support for the presidents
are also key tasks. At Exec meetings, the secretary takes minutes, types
and distributes them to other Exec members. Though the majority of this
work is done behind the scenes, CU cannot function well without it. |

The Treasurer
is responsible for all finance and accounts within the CU. They write the
cheques when money needs to be paid out and pay in any cheques that are
coming in to the CU, for example on Gift Day. |

Has the resposibility
of organising praise and worship with all the CU events, requiring him to
contact and delegate authority to other members of worship. |

Publicity
involves creating poster campaigns, leaflets, flyers, logo's, managing the
website and anything else to advertises the CU, Cell Groups, Weekends Away
and more! |

The Prayer
Secretary organises prayer partners, prayer triplets, P.U.S.H. events (Pray
Until Something Happens) and encourages people in prayer within the CU.

Cosgrove - Cell Group Co-ordinator

The Cell
Co-ordinator is responsible for organising cell groups - this involves finding
places to meet, leaders for the cells and making sure people have a group
that meets near them which they will feel comfortable in. The Cell Co-ordinator
also arranges Cell Leaders Training meetings. |

The Evangelism
Co-ordinator is responsible for getting the CU motivated to evangelise and
organising outreach events such as the Bitesize course CU socials, lunch
bars etc... |

The international
Secretary works to try and help interenationals feel welcome in Leeds, through
such events as the International Cafe. They also work as a link for the
internationals into the CU and the local churches. |
